Traditional Dayak dance. Sarawak. Performed in a longhouse about 2 hours upriver by traditional boat from the nearest road. 40 families live in this longhouse. Here the Dayaks cultivate pepper and are subsistence famers practising slash and burn agriculture in the jungle. We stayed a couple of days there, which was very interesting indeed. There is no electricity or running water here.
