Lately, when seeing young calves in our nearby rural areas, I've been reminded that July and August was the calving season on our former rural property. Sometimes people ask and yes , I do miss our animals! Hence this photo from the archives. Explored.

Taken long ago on our rural property with my first digital camera. This very young calf has managed to walk through the wire fence behind it, but has finally reached an impassable barrier. HFF. Here's a musical link.

That round thing is a feeder, for giving cattle controlled access to those round hay bales on the left. This new calf was able to climb through it. :-) Taken at our former property "Tiabunna" during the drought. HFF!
