I didn't push on to the end as it was a bit of a rock scramble. At this stage there also was a little more cloud moving in. Worth viewing large. I once asked a geologist friend about the type of rock similar to this - his response was that it is fubarite. I'll let you look that up. :-)) (I originally had the geological term slightly incorrect, now fixed on the advice of sigwv who is a geologist.).

An image of the old lifting bridge that I've realised I hadn't previously posted here. The new bridge, now under construction, will run from about where this was taken to between the old bridge and the bright light across the river (which is near where the previous images, also in PiPs, were taken)..
