For Macro Mondays group 18/9//2023, topic #327. "Thread". Macro of a section of an unfinished embroidery my late wife had been doing, of a painting . "Under the Jacaranda" The PiP shows the threads at the rear of the canvas.

For "Macro Mondays" group 13 March 2023. Topic #300, "Sewing". Two years ago my lovely wife passed away. She was passionate about her sewing and hand sewed and embroidered this ornamented set of holders for her travelling sewing kit items (wider view in the PiP).

While I amuse myself with cameras, my lovely wife Pauline has always spent her time with various handcrafts. A year or two back, she decided to make an embroidered (opening) house to store her buttons, thimbles, scissors and such. She did what I consider a remarkable job - this is one of the 'windows', the full item is visible in the PiPs, both closed and open. Macro Mondays No 173, 5 October 2020. Topic "windows."

In the village where I took the previous photos of the houses and post office, there was a group of women doing embroidery. This lady in the group gave me a beautiful smile.
