Well, when you get a smile like that, you have to take a portrait. :-) At the Mogo Wildlife Park.
I'll be away for several days, enjoy yourselves, everyone.

Rustic benches at a small local zoo, the Mogo Wildlife Park. Though small, the zoo is very well run with the daily feeding a particular visitor attraction. Among the highlights are the rare White Lions (PiP). These are endangered in the wild, but being bred here in co-operation with other similar establishments.
Happy Bench Monday, everyone.

The raging bushfires destroyed almost half the little village of Mogo, mainly consisting of a series of old, mainly timber, shops selling into the coastal tourist market. This was a second-hand bookshop.

Seen in the village of Mogo, this is one of about 600 power poles in our local region to have been brought down by the current Australian bushfires. Needless to say, there have been widespread power outages and some areas have been without power since the New Year.
With the hope that things will improve with the current fire situation here, I'll say Happy Fence Friday, everyone.

The European Fallow Deer at our local zoo are very popular with children and photographers. Good fences, too - and a musical link.
HFF, everyone.

Endangered in the wild, this is at Mogo Zoo. View large on black and meditate that the total number is counted in just thousands.
Explored.

The Macquarie Island 1968 reunion group at the Mogo Zoo, watching one of the keepers feeding the lions. See also image in note. Mogo has had a breeding programme for the rare white lions (one on the right). These are not albinos, but have two recessive genes. HFF.
