Red-browed Firetail (Neochmia temporalis), also known as a Red-browed Finch. A family of these little birds have become regular and very welcome visitors.

These little finches are usually found in a nearby nature reserve, but this one came visiting on Christmas Day - the first time I've seen one near our house.
