This painting of a Platypus on this Rochester silo was done by Jimmy Dvate, just behind and a few years after his earlier works there (see my previous posting). We were fortunate to be able to visit as part of the events for the National Muster of the Renault 4CV Register of Australia. Second image in the PiP. I am finalising my preparations to head away for another trip and expect I will be largely offline from now through the rest of May. These painted silos are in the township of Rochester in Victoria. They were painted by Jimmy Dvate, who prefers to paint endangered wildlife. In this case, on the left is a Squirrel Glider, a possum species, on the right an Azure Kingfisher. Another image from a slightly different angle in the PiP.
