A pair of Sulphur-crested Cockatoos, attempting to dismantle my neighbour's weather station. They are inquisitive and can be quite destructive. I chased them away after getting this shot.

These wander around constantly in our area. My neighbour calls them "Darth Vader Chooks" , though I doubt that's the scientific term. LOL
Ignore the 400mm in the EXIF info, I forgot to reset the camera (manual input), this was taken with the 200mm/3.5 RMC Tokina.
The Wonga Wonga is flowering

Blossoms of the Wonga Wonga vine (Pandorea pandorana). The Wonga Wonga is an Australian native vine that now is popular in gardens, not least because of its flowers which are about 20mm long and have been hybridised to give different colours.

These honeyeaters are reasonably common in the SE of Australia, but I don't think I've ever seen as many as near Lake Albert.

This New Holland honeyeater was eating nectar from these neighbouring shrubs. I was bemused by the orange patch on its forehead until I realised it is pollen. RMC Tokina 200/3.5 + Kenko X1.4 TC.
