For Macro Mondays #395, 6 Jan 2025. The subject this week is "Cake" . Luckily I had some rich Christmas fruit cake, featuring glace cherries, nuts and lots of dried fruit. It didn't last long after the photo was taken. :-)

To add a little context to my previous image, I was at the beach to join my former colleagues from Macquarie Island (in 1968) for our 50 year anniversary reunion. We had several enjoyable days together, drank a few beers, and had a great dinner featuring this fine cake.
