Maybe not the greatest image, but this is a copy of a very old Kodachrome slide chosen because of its high contrast, ranging from solid blacks to burnt out highlights. Best viewed on black. Old-style sundial seen with "The Dish". The Parkes steerable dish remains one of the world's leading radio telescopes. It also was involved in tracking the first human moon landing. Somewhat later came a comedy film "The Dish" about that event - a musical clip is here. HFF! Explored.
