My late wife had a number of rose bushes. I can't remember the name of most, though I believe this was called a "Peace Rose".

They've put on a great display this year.

My lovely wife assures me this is called a Peace Rose. With the slight drop of rain today, I couldn't resist taking a photo.

Taken today in our garden - I heard an election also was being held somewhere at the same time. Thoughts of this Peace Rose suddenly seem more relevant, as does this accompanying track. Best viewed large. Explored.
