Pyrmont is an inner Sydney harbourside suburb that was formerly an industrial area, later a slum. In the 1990s it was rebuilt with new apartment buildings and offices, keeping a few historic buildings such as the Cooperage (earlier image).

We have recently had a local sculpture competition. This entry seemed to particulrly suit the locale. Happy Bench Monday and have a good week, everyone.
