The 'Peace Cathedral' in Bodo was built in 1956 to replace a church destroyed (with most of Bodo) during WW2. While it may look unexciting in concrete (see PiP 1), the interior is quite attractive (Pip 2). My visit was enhanced by a lovely organ recital (sorry, I didn't get a shot of the organ). I also was intrigued by the large woven rugs on the walls (PiP 2). Explored. Family health issues will limit my involvement on ipernity, so my apologies if I do not respond to your comments or visit your images - I shall try to do so as far as possible.

I had time to walk around Trondheim and admired the Nidaros Cathedral (stitched image). See also PiP. As noted with my previous image posting, circumstances unrelated to photography are likely to limit my involvement on ipernity for some time. The ruined cathedral. Colourful details, such as this safety fence (that colour is S.O.O.C.) have been arranged around the city centre to brighten the landscape . The contrast struck me forcibly. HFF and maybe try this music link which I think fits.

Through a viewing hole in the surrounding safety fence. Sadly, it seems likely the earthquake damage may be beyond reasonable repair. I have added the location details, it is interesting to view this area from the 'satellite' view.
