Taken at the peak of the lunar eclipse - we had about 15 minutes of totality. The background stars are at the head of the Scorpio constellation. I should note that, although the eclipsed moon and colour can be seen with the naked eye, this has been brightened quite a bit. Other images in PiPs. I was delighted tonight to see the entirety of the lunar eclipse, without any cloud interference. Too many photos, most yet to be properly reviewed, but it's now late at night so I'll post just this one for the moment.
