Heading back from travels (home soon) and these autumn leaves were striking. There had been others earlier, but not quite as well preserved. The high ISO and shutter speed were to compensate for a bouncing moving vehicle. It's near the end of another week, so I'll wish everyone a Happy Fence Friday and a great weekend to follow.

In the same village with the rice wine, this lady was busily weaving marvellous creations, as seen here and in the PiP, in a very basic thatched hut with an earthen floor. Best viewed large.

The bromeliads are flowering and a macro seemed suitable. I'd suggest viewing large on black.

The "Emperor" in the Xian stage show about the Tang Dynasty, closing the show and saying "farewell" (see also my previous image). I'm also about to depart for the next few weeks. I may have some occasional internet, but expect I'll be largely off line. Best wishes, everyone.

Xian was the Chinese Capital city for over ten different dynasties. One of those was the Tang Dynasty, considered one of China's greatest periods and now celebrated in Xian with a stage show of music and dance. It was a colourful and enjoyable evening.

This lenticular cloud made me think of a flying saucer about to land.... I've watched too many bad 1950s movies, I suspect. On those lines, try this as a musical link. Explored.
