what must be one of the oldest quaker chapels anywhere, dating from 1670. full of original woodwork too, I believe.

the united reformed church on the green was formerly a friends' meeting house, and looks late c17. however, it is claimed to not have been built until 1752, which would make it rather old fashioned this close to london. the porch is of 1895, at which time the interior was messed up too.
