burton terrace of 1820. I came here a lot in the 1970s when the whole place was a squat, a real labyrinth of endless corridors and small rooms lit by borrowed light from internal windows, except for the basements which were the dark and noisy home of practicising bands. I expect it's changed a bit, probably for the worse.
