right, that's my freedom sorted, now what about yours ? ceramics on the steps outside the museum, added by the treatment rooms collective. I might agree with the ideas, but is this just a case of the museum getting down with the kids? and I bet this cost a fortune to do; I'd rather the money went to the nhs and I'll shout my own slogans.
art? follow the money....

camus gets in on the act on ceramics on the steps outside the museum, added by the treatment rooms collective, as the museum tries bonding with the existential kids of today. isn't this just another part of the society of the spectacle, recuperating dissent ? cue ironic french laughter off stage left.....

temporary ceramics outside the v. and a advertising the current exhibition. made by carrie riechardt and the treatment rooms collective. neo-maoist imagery rendered as an arty mosaic ; the craftsmanship may be as good as it likes, but does the medium suit the message? in any case, this sort of over simplification is as much of a lie as anything the authorities come up with, and this looks somewhat like protest for profit . of course, if they did the work at cost as a means of subverting a state institution and getting their message over to more people then that may be different, but objecting to police violence isn't exactly cutting edge stuff. who's left to convince ?
