entrance to the church via a loggia and courtyard, with clergy houses above built c.1881 by bowes paice. the west end of the church was designed by maurice adams in 1884-94, but remained unfinished until work stopped in 1939 . war damage was later made good, but the tower etc. never completed.

font and cover probably date from the early c20, as this part of the church was only roofed c.1939
