the tower of c.1476 boasts some of the finest flushwork in suffolk, with devices here on the battlements. the problem with such fine work is that it is difficult to read easily at such a height.

ornate late c14 cross base in the churchyard, one can see how easily this could become mistaken for a font, something I've seen several times.

tower of 1476 and c15 porch and aisle all bear flushwork devices. the late c14 churchyard cross has an ornate original base, though its top and much of the church are victorian . there was a keyholder notice for access.

the window tracery is unsuitable victorian work; at least their flushwork is obviously theirs, the chancel being built in 1864 and the north aisle added in 1872. the tower was built c.1476
