the church is mostly c14, but has lost aisles and tower. one other church survives in the village, another has gone.

this church has three fonts
this is one which once carried carvings of the labours of the months within an arcade, akin to that at burnham, though this has unfortunately been cut down to become octagonal in the c14. this side showed a tree and a seated figure playing a harp. this last isn't easy to make out, but you can just see the back and arm of his chair, the legs cut off, and the bearded man's right arm playing the harp. this doesn't appear to be one of the months, so is perhaps king david.
