go out of your way for this one. 1385 tower top, church much rebuilt late c15/ early c16 . the east window could be c17 or late c18; whatever, I'm glad the victorians didn't change it.

lierne timber vault in the c15 porch, with beautifully carved bosses, the oak aged to silver. a wondrous and unexpected experience on an icy day; either the cold or the beauty brought tears to the eye and warmth to the soul. I liked this one.
