the tower is half c18, half c14. the nave is c12, the chancel c13. locke's tomb was by the south nave wall.
high laver church essex, interior,the outward splay of the chancel arch was arrested in 1963 but still shows despite the strength of the tympanum in the head of the c15 arch. locke's tomb is just visible on the right wall.
