this barn even retains its decorative finials. built by the abbey of evesham, with 10 bays, two waggon porches, [one gone], aisled bays at each end bracketting 8 cruck trusses

you can just make out the aisled bay at the end of the barn, apart from these end bays, there are 8 raised cruck trusses with wind braces curving up away from them to purlins which are clasped between the upper and lower parts of what are effectively cambered tie beams

this waggon porch used to have a twin on this side of the barn, now marked merely by doors
