the church here is at the end of the broadway, halfway between the upper and lower greens, near the old hall. norman basis with much victorian rebuilding.

this cottage near the church at upper green is listed as c17/18; the thatch is a beautiful example with its asymmetrical design rooted both in the georgian picturesque of the cottage ornee and in traditional craftsmanship.

simple c12 north doorway and window remain in the nave: the tower is c14 . the odd pebble finish is mostly down to ewan christian's 1884-5 restoration.
