FINISHED!-j-ust in time--with 113 pictures in 2013; #100 "Make a picture collage of your day." This final posting fulfills my quota of 113 for the group "113 pictures in 2013" on Flickr. It portrays a day proceeding from morning coffee, to surprises in the mail from a fellow photographer, to work on the photo club newsletter, to getting ready for New Year's Eve. It should, actually, be a collage of all the stuff I ran around shooting today to finish the 113 themes. Happy 2014, everyone!

This is our back yard, leading to Brices Creek, before and then during the storm. Fortunately, the water came to our steps but not into the house, and receded quickly.

I like their expressions--they look anxious rather than fierce. Or maybe they're tired of posing with tourists. Or just put out at the sissifying effect of the holiday garland.
