Remains of a 19th century house owned by an early settler, along a trail in the Eno River State Park. It looks like it won't be standing much longer. Climbing is actually not allowed here, though there is another area reserved for intrepid rock climbers. I kept to the trail.

It was a beautiful day for a hike. This one was short, only about .8 of a mile, but rigorous enough, at least for this old man.
