A segment of the Punch Bowl which is in the 'Valley Gardens' at the top of one of the valleys which run directly down to Virginia Water lake in Surrey. Less than 30 minutes later the sun disappeared for the rest of the day. This image is straight out of the camera, apart from me reducing the resolution.

Autumn at the Valley Gardens, Virginia water in Surrey. Taken not long after midday yesterday. A pity most of the sun was hiding behind the clouds at the time or the colours would have really be emphasised.

The view looking across the lake from the south side at Painshill Park, in Surrey. It would be folly to think the Gothic Abbey ruins are real, although they were erected in 1772 and are listed Grade II.
