My sister and I share this dollhouse which our dad built for us about 60 years ago. It is a near replica of the house we lived in. It had been passed on to others but finally came back to my sister. She, my father, and I rehabed it. I put on the siding seen in this picture, but my sister has not yet painted it. I made the snowman and the manger and star for the nativity figures.

I have lived in N. Alabama for 6 1/2 years and except for one or two dustings have not had any significant snow until this winter. The first significant snow fell on on Christmas Day. Then came this snowfall which was about 6 inches deep. It fell on Sunday. It is now the following Saturday. I have been snowed in since then. My driveway, which is almost a quarter mile long, iced over the first day. Today was the first day that the temperature has been significantly above freezing. Hopefully, by tomorrow, I will finally be able to get down the driveway in my car.
