As the Sun set beyond Newhaven, to the left of this view, a fair-sized flock of seagulls headed down the valley towards the sea.

I have yet to identify the goose on the left. Although it might be glare, the wings, when open, seem to have large white areas on the outer halves of each wing and there looks to be a white band across the breast. Its legs have a pink or orange colouration.
