Phil Sutters' photos with the keyword: inspiration

This was inspired by a print by Victor Vasarely from 1980. I guess that he must have drawn and painted his original. Photoshop and other art software like Corel Draw only appeared around 1990. Starting from a single square this took about 40 minutes of experimentation to get a similar look using Photoshop. This design is a fairly accurate interpretation of the original in a different colourway. The neighbouring design took this, turned it black and white and gave it a 'twirl' in Photoshop.

Two photos of tall bare trees - one just recoloured and the other more seriously messed about with in Photoshop Elements - superimposed on one another. All in all a worthwhile experiment.
