This is a privately preserved former London Transport bus, which, to judge by the white ribbon and pompom, has been hired to transport wedding guests between venues. This was a very quick snap. My camera was in my backpack when I saw it coming over the hill.

On a drizzly July afternoon, the veteran bus runs its last return journey of the day, as it passes the village garage, in the Amberley Museum.
