January 2024 - This pub closed over a year ago. It was briefly considered as a new location for one of the town's doctors' surgeries. It is currently boarded up.

When we first moved to Seaford over twelve years ago, 'Around a pound' priced everything that did not have a price label on it at £1. Since then their base price has crept up to £1.29, hence the 'Plus +' that has been added to the fascia at the latest redesign. I generally avoid including a shop's name in the file name, so that I can't be accused of advertising it online. I like to record the changing faces of our shops. I doubt that my photos will last as long, but I find photos of Victorian and Edwardian shops fascinating. January 2024 - This shop has decided that one pound sterling is not the price of anything much these days, so it now calls itself 'Value Essentials'.
