14.2.2013 A new housing estate has been built on this plot, so this view is now completely different. 28.11.2013 Including this in Secret London is valid as this view, or parts of it, can only been seen from the new flats built on the site.

Curious to know what was being filmed, I Googled the only information I could glean from the photos, that I took while boarding the Portsmouth Harbour tour boat, the name 'Alexandra Shackleton' and this is what I found www.jamescairdsociety.com/latest.php So the film is 'Shackleton's Captain' Sorry about the railing - we were literally boarding the tour boat. The shot at the lower right was taken from its upper deck.
