I chopped up a damaged pallet for my brother-in-law's stove. The short planks were uneven lengths. When they stood upright in an old vegetable box it reminded me of a skyscraper city. Then I went a bit mad with Photoshop Elements. It's the sort of thing I do when I am too tired to do sensible things with my photos.

This photo was taken during the annual Airbourne airshow. The large mesh screens would not usually be there.

Perhaps someone with more knowledge of Southern locos can identify the class of the other loco - and possibly the location. Even at high magnification its number isn't readable. That could be me in the navy mac and school cap, in which case it is probably nearer 1953-4. 7.1.2013 The print version gives the added information that it was 16.5.1953 and S15 30827 at Templecombe.
