Winchelsea Beach - where sand and shingle meet and rivulets of the retreating sea leave little valleys on the shore.
Then along comes a snapper and plays around with the saturation slider in Photoshop!
Yes, this is a shot taken straight down onto the beach and then very simply saturated. It is revealing how much colour exists in grey, black, brown and biege pebbles.

Reading through the Newhaven Town website page for this cemetery, I realised that there is a war graves section and a number of individual war graves here, so a return visit is called for in this centenary year - www.newhaventowncouncil.gov.uk/newhaven-cemetery
