This studio is at the back of Edward Reeves shop, which, as a participant in Lewes Heritage Open Days weekend, held an exhibition of photographs taken in the studio and out, in and around Lewes by several generations of the family. It is believed that, having been established in about 1855, it is the world's oldest still existing photographic business.
