This the official name for Shoreham's new(ish) footbridge. The glass panels make viewing the river easier, although there is inevitably a film of salt on the glass. But that is a whole lot better than the previous bridge, with its concrete side panels. That one can be seen in www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/36926878 The central section swings around the cylindrical pivot, to allow pleasure craft to sail up the River Adur.

I have no idea who the person about to be filmed was. He was adjusting his tie, or possibly a lapel mike. There was no interviewer, no rosette, so probably not a politician. The whole pedestrianised street looked in pristine condition, so it could have been connected with its 'regeneration'. For me it was really just an opportunity to grab a shot for the 'Shoot the photographer' group!
