We hardly ever see police motorcyclists in our area. Perhaps they are all undercover cops, that we don't recognize. There are plenty of bikers so they could be mingling among them undetected!

Obviously there was at least another motorbike in the family, presumably belonging to the photographer, who I guess was Uncle Percy.

The other similar photo, which was obviously taken in colder weather, to judge by the clothing, is at www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/38645608

There is an even clearer photo, but my scanner link is playing up and it is too late in the evening to reboot everything!* I have identified the bike from looking through online photos. The solid looking wheels and the distinctive front fork seemed to be fairly conclusive. The location is likely to be near Hereford, although with no distinguishing landmarks, one can't be sure. * I have now scanned and uploaded the other similar photo in this album. It was obviously taken in warmer weather www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/38658526

Photo by Alex Anderson, one of my grandsons. The model is my guess, based on its appearance compared with Norton photos online. If anyone can confirm or correct that I would be grateful.
