Southern Hawker dragonfly in St Peter's Churchyard…

I am fairly sure that this is a Hairy dragonfly because, when it is magnified the hairs can be seen around its thorax. I initially thought that it was a Southern Hawker as the colouring and patterns are similar. If anyone can identify it with more certainty I should be pleased.
There is a second shot next-door.
20/7/2016 The identity of this dragonfly has been changed from 'Hairy' to 'Southern Hawker' following a discussion with an expert on another site. Southern Hawkers do have small hairs around the thorax and there are other distinguishing marks that confirm this identification.

Although I have posted a lot of Migrant Hawker photos recently, this most recent one appealed to me because of the way the light has caught its wings.

One of three dragonflies visiting our garden today, two of which ended up, after well over an hour zipping around the garden, hanging from a large Apple tree. They obviously preferred the shade, to basking on a sunny leaf or twig as they have done in the past.
25.7.2014 They must have told their friends about our garden, as there were six here today!

This shot was achieved with built-in flash - the Hawker was hanging upside down, near the middle of a large apple tree.
Has the current fashion for cider drinking caught on with Dragonflies, as both insects have chosen a cooking apple tree to rest on?

Adapting to the modern environment, a bit like sun-bathing on a lilo, or a one-dragonfly protest against carrier bags and litter?

I seem to have uploaded this one twice, but put the other one into groups - so you may have seen this photo before. I have deleted the other one, as it had less 'views'.
