The Oxfam shop is not the only one with figures in need of new clothes. This branch of the clothing chain, Peacock's, is opening shortly in the shop, that used to house the M&Co branch up to about a year ago.

Which message is more eye-catching? Probably meant to complement each other. Let's hope they all get something warm soon. Does Victoria know the company you are keeping David? David Mitchell on the cover of his book 'Back story' looks suitably embarrassed.

Shared for Vintage Theme Park's weekly theme - People - there are a few here ! A cropped version of an old print, from a collection I inherited from my grandfather. Photographed by the companies that made postcards, these were about 8" x 6" and on fairly thin paper. There were almost a hundred in the collection mainly of southern England, from Cheltenham south and parts of Wales. Staying away from home for a couple of nights, I had my camera in the bedroom and thought my clothes parked on a wicker chair overnight might make and interesting still-life. Actually they looked boring, so I cranked up Photoshop and this is one outcome. another is next door.

Maybe they are still boring - but more colourful and the patterns and textures are more pronounced.
