Two new railway sidings may not seem to be too significant to most places but they are signs that Newhaven's port improvements are under way. In neighbouring views the new bridge giving much improved road access to the port can also be seen. There is now a YouTube video of the first train into these sidings, to collect dredged aggregates that are off-loaded at a nearby quay and transported here on a conveyor belt.
