This was an experiment, because the sky looked good and I found that I had left my camera at home, so I tried my phone's camera instead. The clouds look good but since uploading it, I noticed how still the sea was - gun-metal grey as well.

A quartet of sunset views, each taken in a different direction on the same evening. I know that I have uploaded quite a number of sunsets taken in this location, but I was impressed that the wave approaching the beach was one long breaker. May be because the wind is often at an angle to the beach, the waves can be quite narrow when they reach the shore, so they hit the beach at slightly different times.

Shooting through bus and train windows is chancy. But occasionally it pays off!
