This sign was outside a bakers on the hill up from Lewes station. I make no guarantees about the efficacy of this method of keeping out of kidnappers' hands, but it sounds like a reasonable excuse for a bit of bakery product!

These scraps of text etc. were found in a set of 'brushes' in my Photoshop resources. Brushes can be shapes that can be used as conventional brushes or they can be, as in this case, in the form of stamps. They can be resized, shaped and used with any colour. This set was called 'text grundgy poster f languages' - possibly one of a series of sets. The 'f' may indicate french or francais. I can't see how else I could use them apart from this type of collage.

This was created using two copies of a Photoshop Elements 'background'. You see them first as tiny thumbnails. I couldn't work out what the pattern was. Ironically, as I am not a domestic pet enthusiast, it turned out to be the names of various species of pets. One background was treated with the filter 'distort/polar coordinates/rectangular to polar' which turned it into the semi-circular shape. The two layers were then merged.

This started as part of a recipe I scanned for my wife. She did get the un-messed-about-with version. Some time I must try and do a more creative version with text that carries a message.
