Portsmouth Harbour is busy with lots of small vessels as well as frequent ferries across The Solent to the Isle of Wight

There's been a ferry service across the Thames at Shepperton for 500 years or more. It runs every 15 minutes and costs £2 for a pedestrian. You ring a bell at the jetty and someone comes out of the neighbouring Nauticalia store to take you across.
