A famous music venue in Brighton with a "dead rock stars" graffiti wall, as well as a replica of Banksy's "Kissing Coppers", the original of which was removed and sold (not least due to persistent vandalism)

The former Circus Street Market is a temporary art space, hosting exhibitions as part of the Brighton Photo Biennial 2014 . There are redevelopment plans for the area, so it'll change out of all recognition over the next few years. Good to see the old Market Diner over the road is still there, though.

There are a few doors fronting Circus Street. Obviously, most of it is grafittied. Here's one of the letter boxes

Parts of the old market are fenced off, so you get the spray-painting behind this grille effect

It had been a rainy morning, so the constant drip-drip-drip in the dilapidated old space just added to the decaying atmosphere. Well worth a visit during the Brighton Photo Biennial (or any other time it may be open)

Stuck away in a corner inside, this was attracting a regular stream of visitors taking mobile-phone pictures of their friends

As the old market building was a little dark inside, I thought I'd see what effect I could get by zooming as I hit the shutter. I'm pretty pleased with the result, I have to say.
