Great exhibition of bits and bobs found my mudlarks. After looking at the exhibition, I went to an interesting talk by Ted Sandling about his book London in Fragments: A Mudlark's Treasures.

I can't find any evidence that this is really shrapnel damage, but it sure looks like it to me.
