Built in 1893, Snowsfields Street, Bermondsey. Now offices. The plaque on the right reads: This stone was laid by Mr Thomas Hoyland Acting Superintendent on behalf of the teachers of the old Snow's Fields Ragged School May 9th 1893

I was on a mission to find the real "Nonnatus House," where the nuns and midwives in "Call the Midwife" really lived. I'd done tons of research to track it down. When I arrived here with my broken camera, I was so desperate to have a few snaps to show for it that I turned the camera on for a try -- the camera came back to life for these few photos.
