Submitted to Midnight to Midnight: Northampton 48 Hours. "Happy Frog" donation box in front of First Churches, Main Street. Plaque beneath the reclining frog reads, "Feed the Frog, Feed the Hungry. All contributions made to the "Happy Frog" bank will go directlly to feeding the hungry of our community because Northampton cares." The frog sculpture, by local artist Lu Stubbs, is sponsored by the Friends of Hampshire County Homeless Individuals, Inc. The pedestal contains a secure bank in which donations to feed the hungry of the community can be placed. Installed in October 2008.
