At the time I took this photo, these bollards in Chester Terrace were the only ones in London with the Charles III regnal cypher. They are located on the Crown Estate and were placed by the CEPC (Crown Estate Paving Commission) in 2024.

Interesting narrow lane of cottages that runs behind Highgate Road between Lady Somerset Road and Little Green Street. No cars allowed.

"Sommers Town" is apparently the old spelling of what is now called "Somers Town". This bollard at the junction of Ossulston Street and Phoenix Road dates from 1817.

I think these may be the oldest bollards I've seen in London. William IV was king from 1830-1837 and was succeeded by Queen Victoria. Waterloo Place.
